detailed Itinerary
As the first light breaks across the Nairobi skyline, you’ll be picked up for a drive that feels more like a passage through time — headed straight for the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve.
En route, the road winds through the Great Rift Valley, a geological marvel that stretches from Lebanon to Mozambique. At the viewpoint, step out and breathe in ancient winds as you gaze upon a landscape shaped over eons — jagged escarpments, distant lakes, and endless plains. It's your first taste of awe.
By midday, you’ll arrive at Sentrim Mara Camp, tucked just outside the reserve — your basecamp on the edge of wildness. After check-in and lunch, relax and prepare for the wonders that await.
Main Destination: Masai Mara National Reserve
Accommodation: Sentrim Mara Camp (Mid-range Tented Camp)
Fuel up on an early breakfast — today is all about immersion. With a packed picnic lunch, you’ll spend the day deep within the Masai Mara.
This reserve is not just famous — it’s sacred ground for safari lovers, home to the Great Wildebeest Migration, often called the 8th Wonder of the World. Picture it: tens of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles moving in harmony — while predators lurk in shadow, testing the eternal balance of survival.
Seek out the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo. Your guide will lead you through golden grasslands and along meandering rivers where crocodiles bask in silence.
- Optional activities:
Hot air balloon safari at dawn — rise above the Mara with breathtaking views and a champagne breakfast. - Visit a traditional Maasai village, and step into one of Africa’s most storied cultures. Learn about their traditions, crafts, and warrior spirit.

After breakfast, bid farewell to the Mara and head northeast toward the sparkling waters of Lake Naivasha, nestled in the Rift Valley basin.
Upon arrival, check into the serene Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort. If you're up for it, take an optional boat ride across the calm waters, gliding past pods of hippos and flocks of flamingos. Keep your camera ready — this lake is a haven for birdlife and floating tranquility.
- Add-on options:
Crescent Island walking safari — roam freely among giraffes, zebras, and impalas without the barrier of a vehicle. - Hell’s Gate National Park — hike or bike through canyons and geothermal hotspots that inspired scenes from The Lion King.
- Main Destination: Lake Naivasha

Your path turns south, into the shadow of Africa’s tallest mountain: Mount Kilimanjaro.
Welcome to Amboseli National Park, a land where elephants roam beneath the snow-capped peak of Kili. After checking into the iconic Kibo Safari Camp, you’ll enjoy lunch and a brief rest before heading out for an evening game drive.
This is elephant country, home to some of the largest herds in East Africa. The open plains also host lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and giraffes, all silhouetted against the mighty mountain.
- Main Destination: Amboseli National Park
Accommodation: Kibo Safari Camp
Today, you’ll dive deeper into Amboseli’s magic with morning and afternoon game drives.
You might awaken to a perfect sunrise framing Kilimanjaro. With your guide, explore swamplands brimming with buffalo, water birds, and antelope, and acacia forests where leopards slink through dappled light.
Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park — surrounded by the call of hornbills and the quiet gaze of giraffes.

Rise early for one last glance at the majestic Kilimanjaro before heading off to the raw wilderness of Tsavo East — Kenya’s oldest and one of its largest national parks.
Known for its red-dust-covered elephants, Tsavo East is wild, vast, and untamed. The Galana River, with its lush banks and hippo pools, cuts through the arid plains, attracting lions, kudu, waterbuck, and hundreds of bird species.
After checking into your camp, enjoy a twilight game drive through this rugged terrain — the perfect setting for photographers and seekers of raw Africa.
