detailed Itinerary
Land at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your lodge along the shores of Lake Victoria. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing walk through the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, where youβll spot colobus monkeys, colorful birds, and giant fig trees. As the sun sets, take a peaceful sunset cruise on Lake Victoria, soaking in the calm atmosphere and soft equatorial light.
Accommodation: Mabamba Lodge or Lake Victoria View Guesthouse (midrange).
After breakfast, drive north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and go on a guided walking trek to see rhinos up close in their natural habitat. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, stopping at the top of the falls to witness the mighty Nile River explode through a 7-meter gorge.
Overnight: Pakuba Safari Lodge β midrange, near the river with excellent wildlife sightings.
Start with an early morning game drive on the northern bank in search of lions, giraffes, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and antelopes. After lunch, take a boat safari up the Nile to the base of the falls, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and birds along the way.

Travel south to Nyungwe National Park, home to ancient montane rainforest. En route, stop at tea plantations and small villages. Arrive and rest at your lodge.

Early morning chimpanzee tracking in the lush forest. After lunch, venture onto the Nyungwe Canopy Walk, a thrilling suspension bridge 70m above ground, offering views of ancient trees and monkeys.
